Dr. Elsie Wang grew up in Edmonton, and later moved to Vancouver for her Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology at UBC. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) training in the University of Melbourne, Australia. Elsie’s love for Vancouver brought her back to Canada to live and practice dentistry.

 

Elsie is passionate about providing tailored dental treatments and making a positive difference in her patients’ oral health. She believes strongly in disease prevention and adopts a conservative treatment approach. Elsie graduated with distinction in various subjects in dental school, and won the Des Crack Memorial Award as a top student in Paediatric Dentistry.  Elsie likes to give back to the community and actively involves herself in volunteering and dental outreach programs. She believes in lifelong learning and tries to further her knowledge through continuing education programs and study clubs.

 

Elsie is an avid singer - she is an active member of a local choir. You will probably find her performing in the Chan centre once in a while. She also enjoys travelling and spending time with her dog, Kiara.
